My Dad George B. Valko was in the CCC camp in the 1930's near DuBois, Pa. We used to have a large photo of all the personnel but can't locate it these days. The name Huntley rings a bell with me but I can't be sure. I know it was located in Clearfield County. Looking for any other information. We have a photo showing CCC camp 1380. We are looking for more information if availble. Regards, George B. Valko ( son)10/05/2011
I have a number of pictures of my Father, Howard F. Naessen when he was with the CCC at Camp Huntly. There are some taken with groups of other members of the camp. Only one has names attached and was taken at Gray's Hollow -The Rock- on June 24,1934. There are views of the camp outside and one inside showing a long line of bunks and large trunks belonging to the men. It also shows what appears to be a very large wood burning stove probably used for heat. I would like to know more about Camp Huntly. My dad seemed to be very happy at the camp,I do remember his talking about jobs they did,but do not remember what they were.05/17/2005
